The 2023 Santa Sessions- Pictures with Santa in Dallas, TX

Oh this is truly the most magical time of the year! On November 4th, I held my annual Santa Sessions which is one of the highlights of my year!  It never gets old witnessing the excitement, the joy and the awe children experience when they meet Santa.  And this year was no different!  A far cry from the crowded mall Santas with long lines and mere seconds with the big man himself, my Santa Sessions are truly some of the best pictures with Santa in Dallas,TX!

 

Pictures with Santa- Unlike any you’ve had before!

With a simple white backdrop, the focus was truly on the kiddos, their sweet holiday outfits and the authentic reactions they have to Santa!  The seasoned older kids bubbled with excitement to see Santa!  And, there were a few tears from our younger visitors who were new to seeing this jolly old man!  But, what I LOVE LOVE LOVE about my Santa Sessions is that parents still get the smiling, happy portraits no matter what!  Each Santa Session begins with a few minutes of just your child and a simple prop or two.  As he or she gets some individual portraits taken, Santa arrives behind the child.  For a few moments, I capture adorable portraits of your smiling little one AND Santa without your child knowing!  After that, Santa makes himself known and we continue with the session with Santa and your munchkin!

 

Plenty of time to enjoy

As a child, my memories of meeting Santa included cold weather, long lines and a blur of hellos and goodbyes.  In our town all the way up in the cold Northeast, we waited in a parking lot outside a little hut until it was our turn to rush inside.  We’d be plopped on Santa’s lap, have a few quick flashes of a camera and then we’d find ourselves back out in the cold wondering what just happened.  Magic?  Wonder?  Joy?  Umm….not really!  So my goal with my Santa Sessions is to allow your child to have the time to truly enjoy Santa.  With 10 minute sessions, the children this year had so much fun sharing their wish lists, asking Santa questions, exploring his amazing coat and shiny buttons.  One of my favorite moments was when a little girl asked Santa what kind of cookies were his favorite because she only wanted to leave out his favorite cookies!  (It’s chocolate chip, by the way!!).  When Santa answered, she looked at her mom and asked, “Can we make sure we have chocolate chip cookies, mommy?”.  Oh my goodness…..how truly MAGICAL!!

 

Tailored Just for your child

I tailor each session specifically for your child!  With parents’ help, we know their wish lists, their Christmas plans for the holiday and even their elf on the shelf so this time is truly ALL about your little one!  The magic comes in seeing your child light up when Santa remembers the gifts he brought last year or the cookies your child left out for him.   And every child leaves with a special gift from the big man himself to keep the Christmas magic alive even after their session!

 

Memories to Cherish

Although each Santa Session includes 5 digital images, parents love having the option to upgrade to the full gallery!  Sometimes, it’s too hard to choose just 5!  Plus, with these once a year memories, I want families to have the perfect way to remember and cherish these moments.  For my husband and I, we keep a memory book filled with our boys’ Santa Session portraits and the boys love looking back and seeing their pictures from each year!  I am very picky with what I offer but parents always as how they can safeguard these portraits so I have hand picked my very favorite pieces and they are simply stunning!

In my heart, I believe that Santa Sessions are about capturing a child’s genuine joy and excitement for the holiday.  I had the best time witnessing that joy first-hand with all of the beautiful children who met Santa this year!  I am so thankful to everyone that came and I’m already dreaming up new ideas for next year!!!  Merry Christmas to everyone and thank you so much for your support!
